It was a NEWS1130 poll so I’m not yet entirely convinced the sample is devoid of distributional irregularities.
I wonder what the same poll is in the US right now, even though prices are lower and in some cases (gasp!) lower than renting.
We are the 51%!

Given the utter insanity we’ve seen here in the past few years, I’m thinking that even a slim majority win for the “Rent” side is actually a huge victory for common sense. The word is – slowly – getting out there.
