And when I was trying to convince her not to do so, the only thing she replied to me was “it’s the only way you can get rich”. My friend at that time was working on a 6 month contract (no permanent job), put up 30% of the equity and got a mortgage for the rest of it. She paid $450K + renovations for it.”
