“My best friend is a realtor in Vancouver. He said for the last 2-4 weeks he has had almost ZERO calls for his listings. READ no demand. He said the other realtors in the office said the same thing – very, very, very quiet for historically a busy time of year in this area of Canada.”

Why buy now. Even if they knock off 10% you still lose big time. For example a nice rural property close to Vancouver sold for $390,000 in 2007 and today its $649,000.
Pretty good return and capital gains free.
Sales are down 15% over June, which is about average for the seasonal downwards sales trend in the summer months. The rest of the year is going to be “challenging” for sellers and Realtors alike unless buyers start buying again.
What is “almost ZERO”? Two? Ten? Hundred?
“2-4 weeks”? So what is it – 2 weeks or 4? Half a year? Or is this realtor only counting like this: “0, 2, 4, many, many-many”?
